Sunday in Atlanta

I really didn't know what to expect from our trip in the deep south before it started. Luckily, I have already learned a lot about the Civil Rights Movement and the culture of the South. We were in Atlanta on Sunday and I got to spend a lot of time visiting historical sites about Martin Luther King, Jr. I especially enjoyed touring the original Ebeneezer Baptist Church and attending a service in the new church across the street. After learning about and discussing the church's history and seeing a contemporary service, I was able to see the impact of faith and religion in organizing the Civil Rights Movement.
