Journal 5

New Orlenas, LA 12:30 AM Day 6
Our first stop of today was New Orleans African American Museum where is in Treme. It is known as the America’s oldest neighborhood of “Free People of Color” and home to New Orleans. It was interesting to have a bus tour and walking tour exploring Treme. I have learnt about historical achievements of free people of color and enslaved African, and the Jazz history. Second stop was a swamp tour that was at the southwest of the French quarter. It was a very bio-diverse wetland I have ever seen, it was a really awesome experience to ride on airboat, and had a chance to grab a small gator. It was amazing to see an albino gator which costs $40,000 dollars.
