What a lovely sunny day!
Today we got to experience the University of Alabama- Birmingham. Apart from having a great discussion of where Alabama came from and where it is now, I also soaked up some southern college life on campus! The south really does feel like a different world compared to cozy Wisconsin.
Today we also walked in the the foot steps of Rosa Parks, at the Rosa Parks Museum and Library. The museum was a reenactment of some parts of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The experience made two points very clear to me on how to pull off a successful boycott- persistence and teamwork.
