"How was your day, baaabby?"

My day was great! We went to UA-Birmingham this morning to talk with Dr. Pamela King and her Alabama History class. It was a great experience, and we got to listen to the perspective of people who live in the south and what the Civil Rights Movement means to them.

When we got to Montgomery, we went to the Rosa Parks Museum and Library. I enjoyed the tour because it was easy to put yourself in that place and time of Rosa Park's experience.

For dinner, we went to Dreamland BBQ....our waitress, Bridgett, was AMAZING! She was very sweet and helpful...and I'm pretty sure she used every pet name in the southern book. I have to say that being called "baby," "sweetie pie," "lil momma," etc. makes one feel very good :) Southern hospitality is the best!
