Ebenezer Church

Attending Ebenezer's service was my second time attending a full church service, and I have to say that it was better than my first church experience. Although my pastor from my first church was very passionate about what he did, I felt like Pastor Warnock had twice the energy my previous pastor had. i really enjoyed Pastor Warnock's sermon and I like that he tried to make it easy to relate to. His statement "purpose is inherently offensive" really got to me because it made me think about how true that is. If you do something with purpose, on purpose, there will be people who will not like it and will try to bring you down. However, as Pastor Warnock says, you should let them break you down because what you have inside of you should bring you back up. Overall, the experience was a wonderful one...even for a non-church goer. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming at the church. I wouldn't mind attending again!
