Religion in the Civil Rights Movement

Church

The Church served as the symbol of the Civil Rights Movement. The Ebenezer Baptist Church is a spiritual home for more than 121 years. In 1960, Martin Luther King, Jr., became a pastor of this church.
In the church, it was a community people may express themselves beyond the power of the white people.
Day 2, we visited the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
I realized that religion is so powerful to everyone. When we hand-in-hand to sing a song in the church, there is no more barrier between people no matter what our skin color. This is a miracle made by the god.
