Our group outside the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, where we were treated to real Southern hospitality and felt so welcomed throughout the church service!

The student coordinators of the Civil Rights Pilgrimage with Freedom Rider Charles Person, who traveled from Washington, D.C. to Jackson, MS in protest of bus segregation. Mr. Person gave a riveting talk on his experience with the Freedom Rides, his service in the Marine Corps in Vietnam, and other aspects of his life and efforts toward equality.
