Aaron Zucker - Day 2: driving to Atlanta

The movie that dealt the most with women of the civil rights movement was Ghosts of Mississippi. This is because Whoopi Goldberg's character fights for what she feels is right even though the men who previously tried her husbands killer found him innocent. As a woman of color Whoopi's character was not taken seriously and really is just not respected by others. This lack of respect is shown by the trial not being overturned for 27 years. I hope to find out more about women like the character Whoopi portrayes in this movie who actually did things like this in real life. I would like to know more about some of the trials that where falsified and made people of color look guilty.
