The Journey Begins!

I have so many mixed feelings about the journey I am about to embark on but one thing is for sure, I am very excited! I have heard nothing but wonderful things from others who have experienced the Civil Rights Pilgrimage in the past. This gives me an even firmer foundation of knowing this trip is going to be something special and extremely influential. I hope to get everything I can out of this trip. It is going to be inspirering to have a tangible and face-to-face contact with history itself when meeting those who were actually part of the Civil Rights movement. Not to mention the relationships I will be able to build on while on the trip with those also participating and all the new people that I will meet. Bring it on!
