The trip has been fantastic thus far. From going on the tour at CNN to having two services at Ebenezer this trip has been amazing! Today was the 123rd anniversiary of Ebenezer so we had the priviledge to see Reverened Dr. Joseph E. Lowery who was one of the co-founder of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and Reverend Timothy McDonald III who was a member of Ebenezer in his past. Both messages were very different but very poignant. Reverend McDonald talked about responsibility and Reverend Lowery talked about how we are the change in the world, with a new heaven and new earth. Then h ere comes the impromptu part: we had the priviledge to hear John Lewis speak, one of the civil rights movement fathers. He was amazing to hear and I can say now that I have heard him speak and shake his hand. Today has been amazing and can't wait for the rest of the trip!
