Hi everyone, A happy shout out to Miranda and Morgan Thesing-Ritter!!! We are have a great time. today was our first day of true civil rights education. We started our day with a beautiful church service at Ebenezer Baptist Church, in Atlanta. Then looked around in the Martin Luther King Jr.'s Historic Museum, birth house, and Freedom Hall.Then we drove for 2.5 hours and went to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute with tons of GREAT interactive exibits. I was impacted most today by a women I met while getting coffee, who told me about her own personal experience as a freshman in high school and being one of the 15 first integrated in to Birmingham Public.
