Day One

Our first stop was Western Kentucky University for showers and breakfast. Thanks to WKU for their wonderful hospitality! More time on the bus and then we arrived at the King Center in downtown Atlanta. We arrived during a tornado warning and were sent into the theatre for shelter. Luckily, the severe weather passed quickly and we were able to view the rest of the King Center and grounds. We made a stop at Centennial Olympic Park and then finished our day at the world's largest drive-In...The Varsity. It has been a good start to our exciting journey.
