Life Lessons

The Civil Rights Pilgrimage was an amazing experience that taught me how to stay true to what I believe in and how to fight for what I believe is right. The opportunities we had to listen to dreamers and fighters are moments I will remember forever. These individuals, like Joanne Bland, Lynda Lowry, Rev. Billy Kyles, and the students at the Clinton School of Public Service, are individuals I will strive to have as much strength and determination as. This pilrimage not only gave me historical facts, but life lessons. Thank you to all of you who helped make my experience a great one! I will remember it always.
