Well everyone...this is my first entry so lets start with intros. Hi, my name is Phil. There, now that is out of the way so let us continue. After being on the bus for what seemed like forever we finally arrived in Atlanta. We saw the sites and such today and it was pretty cool. Tomorrow we will be heading to Ebeneezer Baptist Church and I for one am very excited. Well that is all for today! Oh, and if you are wondering about how beautiful the weather is here, it is raining and is about the same temperature as it is in Wisconsin.

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students have the opportunity to spend their winter or spring break on a Civil Rights Pilgrimage to the South, visiting sites of historic importance to the U.S. civil rights movement. This blog is a record of the learning experiences of our students dating back to our first trip in March 2008.
