Today we are going to visit Heifer Ranch of Heifer International, a social justice organization that supplies the resources for people all over the world to sustain themselves and their communities. These resources include the seeds for sustainable farming as well as livestock, and the ranch we are visiting today raises many of the livestock sent all over the world. This organization advocates human rights in a much different way than we have seen so far on this amazing trip, clearly showing the multiple ways that we can make a difference in the world. If everyone began to act on the little things they can do to raise awareness or eliminate the inequalities in the world, it would be a much better place. We have come so far, but there is still so much to be done, and it starts with us. I just hope that everyone realizes what an impact they really can have on the world!
