Ready to explore!

I am so incredibly excited for this trip. As I was reading my book about the little rock nine, I couldn't believe that we are going to be standing on the steps of that high school, where nine kids had to have military men guard them. It's just unbelievable that we are going to all these places that played such a huge part in the civil rights movement. I'm also excited just to be traveling--to be going to so many different places across the south, seeing so many new things and meeting new people. Not to mention it's 70 degrees in New Orleans!
